TR-8 Version 1.5
A new firmware version for the TR-8. Mainly appears to add new functionality for SP-404A Aira Sampler but also adds in the ability to change the TR-8 USB frequency to 44.1, 48, or 96 kHz.
Shame we couldn’t have had some other enhancements such as Copy Pattern A to B:-(

hi could you please tell me how you access matthew jonsons kits once they have been installed to the tr8 as there does not seem to be any new kits listed when you turn it back on which is very strange i have all kits inside including the expansion kit but can’t see anything else thanks very much and i hope you can help me and probably 1ooo”s of others.

I’ve not actually tried this set, but I suspect you’re not waiting for the LEDs to turn green before restarting the TR-8. So, once you have the TR8 drive visible on your PC, copy the new files into the RESTORE folder. Once copied, eject the drive, then disconnect the USB cable from the TR-8. Wait until the lightshow finishes and all the LEDs turn green before switching off. This can take a minute or so.
Also, there won’t be any new complete kits, like the 727 or 606, what there will be a set of patterns and a set of custom kits built from the existing internal kits. Hope that helps and makes sense.
